Main Screen

MSTS - Main Switchboard

This is where it all begins – you can access plant and planned maintenance information, view and print work order reports, monitor work orders and personnel, change system settings, add required staff onto the system and view items in stores.

Plant Detail

The system will allow you to add plant to the asset register including details such as description, manufacturer, supplier and five freely programmable fields. From here you will also be able to view manufacturer and supplier details.
Planned maintenance schedules
can be added to the plant details and then printed so your engineers can view the checklist before they go to the machine and take the correct tools with them.
Other features include
hyperlinks that can be added for linking to existing information available for this machine such as electrical drawings, instruction manuals, spare parts lists etc.

Planned Maintenance Checklist

When engineers are booked onto a PM work order they need as much information as possible for them to complete the job thoroughly. The planned maintenance checklist provides information on the type of check they need to complete with a more detailed description of each one. It also allows the Supervisor or Manager to add any special instructions for the engineers and give them details of any special tools required. A time can also be set as a guideline.

Planned Maintenance Schedule Due

Managers need to monitor what planned maintenance is due and when. The planned maintenance schedule allows engineers to find out what is due now and Managers to monitor what is due in the future to plan engineer coverage. The schedule can be requested by future date or by department. PM’s due now are highlighted in red.

Create Work Order

Once a machine has been selected from the plant list a work order can be created by anyone within your organisation . The requisitioner adds their name, selects which department they require, if it is a breakdown or none breakdown job, what priority it has and what maintenance or work is required. It will also allow the requisitioner to plan the time for it to be dealt with and if there is a critical time by which it should be completed. The request area is a free text area allowing the requisitioner to explain what work needs to be completed or what fault they have on their machine in their own words.

Work Order Status and Update

This is a live status report that gives information from all current work orders that have been generated. It shows current status, priority, downtime etc, and prominent information is colour coded to give you a visual representation to easily identify where you should be deploying staff or monitoring work in progress. You can filter for the work orders you want to view and then print the status.  This screen can be viewed at the click of a button from the main switchboard and viewed by anyone, helping them to determine when an engineer will be available, who is working on their breakdown or if the work order has been completed.

Work Order Notes

Engineers use this screen to log on and off the work orders
. Each activity is time stamped to create a time line of events. After logging on an engineer can view all previous work orders created for this piece of equipment to access information that might be applicable to assist with repairing the current work order. The work order notes also give engineers information on the work order, a history of who has worked on the machine and when, if anyone is currently working on it and actions that have been taken.

Stores Detail

To monitor what you have in your Stores Department you will need to know what parts have been booked out to what jobs, stock quantities, what is on order, suppliers involved, etc. Minimum levels and order quantities for stock can be set and auto order used to ensure stock levels are maintained. This area of the system provides all the information you require to maintain an up to date Stores Department. Other features include hyperlinks that can be added for linking to existing information available for this part, it could be a CAD drawing of the part or an instruction manual.

Reports & Graphs

Reports and Graphs

One of the biggest benefits of any CMMS should be its ability to report and display information in a clear way.  MSTS is no exception with over 70 reports and graphs to select from. Typical reports include work orders completed, response times and stock usage. All the information filtered for a report or graph can also be exported to Excel or Word.

The above screen shots show just a few of the many features of MSTS – it is capable of much more than we can describe here. For more information or to arrange an on site demonstration please click on the link to the contact us page.
